What is Genkai Shokudo?

Genkai Shokudo is a restaurant where you can enjoy the traditional taste of Genkai Mizutaki at a more affordable price.

A symbol of gratitude to those who have supported Genkai.

Genkai Shokudo opened as a gathering place for people who live and visit Shinjuku.

A great place to enjoy a meal with close friends, long-lost colleagues, family, or coworkers.

We aim to create a "second dining experience" for you with our unique Genkai cuisine and heartfelt hospitality.

お料理CUISINE

Mizutaki is a dish that has been eaten mainly in Kyushu and Kansai, but is now a hot pot dish that is recognized throughout Japan.

As the name suggests, it is a hot pot dish in which the broth is made by boiling water and then eaten with vegetables as an ingredient.
When it comes to mizutaki, chicken is usually used, as this is the easiest way to extract flavor.

We believe that our founder, Hiroo Yano, was the first to introduce it in Tokyo.
